Crean Promise $50m boost for export scheme

On 21 November 2007, the Opposition's trade spokesman, Simon Crean, will announce the Australian Labor Party's trade policy. He will commit a Labor Government to boosting the funding of the Export Market Development Grants by $A50 million. Crean is also expected to launch a wide-ranging trade policy with a focus on services and renewable energy exports. He is also expected to announce that Labor will commission an independent review of the effectiveness of existing free trade agreements.
