Software designer BodyOnline has invested $6.2 million in the development of animations and images to help health-care professionals explain how a disease or medical disorder is affecting the body. The project was one of six exhibited at a BSI Investor Forum in which companies pitched to investors for funding. BodyOnline is seeking $2 million to fund its global expansion, meet capital requirements, pay outstanding debts and undertake research and development. Another company showcasing its product is Visionmed, which is seeking funding for its eyewear that assists those afflicted by sleep apnoea. The company is seeking $600,000 to distribute the eyewear overseas as well as funding for R&D, intellectual property protection and marketing.
